The Dr John McCulloch prize is awarded to the best paper delivered by an EMSAH student at WiP. The value of the prize this year is $1000.
The prize is named in honour of the late Dr John McCulloch, a former EMSAH student and staff member who died shortly after submitting his PhD thesis.
Dr McCulloch made significant contributions to the University as a student, researcher and tutor, and convened the WiP Conference in 2007. He was also the recipient of an Order of Australia Medal for services to youth in 2000.
Essays by EMSAH students, complete with referencing, must be submitted to a.tuohy at uq dot edu dot au by 4pm Friday 4 October 2013 to be eligible for the prize.
